SMS Terms & Conditions
The following terms govern SMS messages sent by AstraRelay on behalf of contracted HVAC and plumbing businesses.

1. Program description
AstraRelay sends SMS messages on behalf of HVAC and plumbing service businesses (“Customers”) to individuals who have called those businesses. Messages include: (a) an automated greeting confirming receipt of the call, (b) lead-qualification questions such as the nature of the service needed, service address, and best callback time, and (c) follow-up messages confirming scheduling or providing additional information requested by the caller.
AstraRelay does not send marketing or promotional broadcasts. Messages are transactional and tied to a specific inbound call placed by the recipient.
2. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on call activity. A typical inbound inquiry generates between 2 and 6 messages exchanged with the caller.
3. Opt-in
By calling a business that uses AstraRelay, the caller’s phone number may receive an automated SMS reply from that business’s AstraRelay-provisioned number. Initiating the call is treated as consent to receive a responsive transactional SMS reply in accordance with TCPA and CTIA guidelines.
4. Opt-out
Recipients may stop receiving messages from a given business at any time by replying STOP to any message from that business’s AstraRelay number. AstraRelay will send a single confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent from that number to that recipient.
Replying HELP will return contact information for AstraRelay support and the operating business.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan. AstraRelay does not charge end-users for messages.
6. Supported carriers
AstraRelay supports messaging to and from major US wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular, as well as their MVNO sub-brands. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy
Information collected through SMS — including phone numbers, message content, and timestamps — is handled in accordance with the AstraRelay Privacy Policy. Mobile information collected through SMS opt-in is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Compliance
AstraRelay complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and carrier-specific A2P 10DLC registration and content requirements. Our messaging campaigns are registered through The Campaign Registry (TCR) under the registered AstraRelay brand.
